Polyvinyl Chloride Fiber Or PVC Fiber Is A Widely Used Plastic And One Of The Most Valuable Products In The Petrochemical Industry. The Most Special Property Of PVC Fibers Is Its Non-Flammability, Which Many Of Its Applications Go Back To. Vinyon Is Thermoplastic And Very Resistant To Water And Insulates Electricity And Heat.

Its Disadvantages Are The Softening Temperature And Low Tensile Strength. These Fibers Have Low Strength, But They Have Properties That Make Them Useful In Clothes Where Heat Is Not The Main Cause. Apart From Clothing, These Fibers Are Used In Upholstery Or Accessories Such As Curtains.

Advantages: Non-Flammable, Thermoplastic, Highly Resistant To Water And It Has Electrical And Heat Insulation, Relatively Cheap Price, And Has Wide Range Of Flexibility.

Disadvantages: Low Softening Temperature And Tensile Strength, Low Resistance To Strong Solvents Such As Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Esters And Chlorinated Solvents, Difficult To Paint.
